IQST at the 75th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting

IQST parti­cip­ated in the 75th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, joining Nobel Laureates, early-career research­ers, and repres­ent­at­ives of scientific insti­tu­tions from around the world for a week dedic­ated to scientific exchange and inter­na­tional collaboration. 

On the closing day of the meeting, IQST welcomed visit­ors to its exhib­i­tion booth, where parti­cipants had the oppor­tun­ity to learn about the Center, its inter­dis­cip­lin­ary research network, educa­tional programmes, and outreach activ­it­ies. The event provided an excel­lent platform to present IQST to an inter­na­tional audience and engage with students, research­ers, and guests inter­ested in quantum science and technology. 

A partic­u­lar highlight was the visit of Neşe Erikli, State Secret­ary at the Minis­terium für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kunst Baden-Württemberg, who stopped by the booth and exchanged with the IQST team about the Center and its contri­bu­tion to the Land Baden-Württemberg’s quantum ecosystem. 

Visit­ors were also invited to explore a quantum network model, developed by the Barz Group. The inter­act­ive exhibit sparked numer­ous conver­sa­tions about quantum commu­nic­a­tion and provided an access­ible intro­duc­tion to current research within IQST. 

The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting offered a unique oppor­tun­ity to strengthen inter­na­tional connec­tions, intro­duce IQST to new audiences, and showcase the vibrant quantum research landscape of Baden-Württemberg.
